We had an amazing time at this charming cottage with our friends. It was clean and well-equipped, making it perfect for a family holiday. the location was fantastic, allowing us to easily walk to town for shops, restaurants, and the harbor. We also enjoyed exploring the Northumberland coast and even took a train to Edinburgh. the cottage provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a cozy living area and a fully equipped kitchen. the small yard was a minor drawback, but it didn't detract from our overall experience.
The natural light in the cottage was a bit limited for reading, but the lighting inside made up for it.

The garden was so tiny, I couldn't stretch my pinkie finger without touching the fence. But hey, at least I had free WiFi to keep me company while I squished myself in there. And the location was quite convenient, I could escape to Edinburgh if things got too cramped!
Oh, the joy of reading in a dark room with no natural light. Quite the ideal setting for a book lover like myself.

I recently stayed at a charming cottage in a lovely town on the Northumberland coast. The house was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for my family. It served as an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. We could easily walk to the town center, where we found good shops, restaurants, and a bustling harbor. The Sunday market was a highlight of our stay. We also enjoyed taking a scenic half-hour walk to Warkworth. The location of the cottage allowed us to take day trips up the magnificent Northumberland coast, visiting beautiful places like Holy Island, Alnwick, and Craster. We even took a train ride from Alnmouth to Edinburgh, an lovely experience. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as a small yard and limited natural light for reading, the positives of our stay far outweighed these insignificant issues. I highly recommend this cozy cottage for anyone looking for an enjoyable and convenient vacation destination.

The house was pretty clean and had everything we needed for our family. It was in a good location, close to town and the harbour. We enjoyed being able to walk to the shops and restaurants, and the Sunday market at the harbour was a nice surprise. Another advantage was that we could easily drive to popular places along the Northumberland coast like Holy Island, Alnwick, and Craster. Plus, we took a quick train ride from Alnmouth to Edinburgh. Great location!
The outside yard was a bit small, and the lack of natural light in the house made it a little dark for reading books. However, the artificial lighting in the house compensated for it.
